MY COMMENTS:
The topic of blindfold routines in mentalism have been
covered on DVD before, notably by Glenn Falkenstein and
Richard Osterlind, on their respective DVD sets. But no one
is more entertaining than John Archer. In fact, the effect
he does while being blindfolded only takes about the final
five minutes. The rest of the nearly twenty minute routine
is a hilarious interaction with the two assistants he calls
to the stage. Which means that the remaining hour of the
DVD is spent explaining in detail the routine.

I will certainly stand behind Banachek and Luke Jermay's
testimonials. Watching John perform is thoroughly
entertaining and his performance here is one that I can
definitely watch more than once. If you don't do blindfold
work, you can certainly get this for the entertainment value
and/or consider getting John's other DVD, EDUCATING ARCHER.
Also, normally I gripe about the higher prices that Alakazam
charges, but this DVD, though a bit more expensive than the
usual DVDs, isn't that much more. Which makes this a very
good deal.
