THE BLURB:
CARDSHARPIE™ is a genuine Sharpie marker pen specially made
as an accessory for magicians. Unnoticed until you direct
attention to it, the special printing on the barrel offers
three hidden revelations.
For example, the name of a card chosen from a regular deck
is found printed on the side of Cardsharpie or the spectator
draws two geometric shapes to form a design and the chosen
design is revealed on the Cardsharpie they are using!
Always ready - Looks like a regular Sharpie
MY COMMENTS:
The Cardsharpie and Kenton Knepper's Sharpie Sense were
unfortunately released at the same time. Rest assured that
this is most definitely a case of independent thinking,
which is the reason I'm carrying both items. I actually
like the design of CardSharpie better than Kenton's, however
there are differences. Both feature classic forces
involving a four-digit number and another involving two
geometic shapes. However, Kenton's features a classic
two-digit number force plus two different playing cards.
Cardsharpie only has one card's name on the Sharpie but I
like the way it's designed like the Sharpie logo so that it
won't be noticed as easily until pointed out. Also, and
probably most importanly, it's less expensive.
If you have Kenton's Sharpie Sense, then you already have
some brilliant ideas to use with this pen. If not,
Cardsharpie's instructions gear this towards mental magic,
but there is little doubt (Kenton's Sharpie Sense being the
proof, of course) that you can use this pen for other, and
more effective, uses in mentalism.
