A large, full-color chart that has been sitting on the table
the entire time is opened by the spectator. She finds her

Kenton had a chart in the very expensive Wonder Readings
system, and this has similarities. This version however is
even more deceptive for the date on calendar effect, and
easier than anything published previously. In fact, this is
THE system Kenton uses to this day. Now that he has let his

MY COMMENTS:
If you absolutely hate working with regular playing cards,
you won't be interested in this. You could certainly apply
this to Tarot cards, though. However, you will have to
construct your own special card using Kenton's principles.
That said, as a diary effect, there is a lot to like about
this version. Kenton has found a solution to complicated
formulas that is very easy to do. You don't have to
memorize any complicated formulas.
As a reading system, I like this, though I'm not as
impressed with this as I am with Kenton's others,
specifically S.A.R., but this one does have plenty to offer.
The beautifully printed card, which when folded in half
measures 8 1/2" by 11, becomes a table card/sales pitch. On
one inner side of the card is a handy grid used for
determining each playing card's corresponding date and a
list of traits that correspond to each suit. By using a few
lines of very clever "Kenton"-isms, it will appear that all
the items on the list will apply to the sitter. Kenton also
briefly (perhaps too briefly) explains how to use numerology
to enhance the readings.
Kenton's Readings For Magicians, incidentally, pairs
remarkably well with A Date With Destiny to give one all you
need to do a reading system, and one that can be very
profitable, if that's your intent. Besides the card, you
get seven pages of instructions, stapled together. You must
supply your own deck of playing cards.
