Just imagine this:
A small manila pay-envelope is shown on all sides, interior,
etc. The spectator draws a truly free choice of a number,
word or design on the blank side of an opaque card and it is
inserted writing side down into the envelope. The card
truly sealed and given to the spectator to hold. the
mentalist correctly is able to duplicate the drawing!

The mind reader borrows any denomination bill and has the
spectoar fold his own bill with the serial number on the
inside of the folds. The bill is inserted into the envelope
and it is sealed. Even under these conditiions the
mentalist is able to ascertain the serial number! I also
include an additional twist that will make this one of the
funniest pieces you can do while still retaining the
mystery!
These are just a couple of effects possible!

MY COMMENTS:
I love working with coin/pay envelopes and this is a
wonderful new application of a concept that's been around.
That concept appears in Tarbell, by the way, like many other
principles. Bryn supplies you with four folded 8 1/2" by 11"
pages of instructions plus a cover page. He includes two
different sizes of envelopes (size #1 and #5, I believe)
that have already been prepared and are ready to use. The
preparation time is minimal, perhaps a minute or so. And it
does require a substance that is easily available. Bryn
provides a website address for the substance he founds works
best. Because of this, any size envelope could be used.
Myself, I prefer #3 size envelopes.
My only real complaint is that I didn't find very funny that
"additional twist that will make this one of the funniest
pieces." You have to be very, very careful how you present
it. It involves accidentally destroying a participant's
property, even though they get reimbursed for it later.
The fair pricing for this remarkably useable idea makes this
product one that I'd definitely recommend.
