THE BLURB:
Up to now, the effect of breaking a glass required the use
of a special table, or of a device inserted into a tray,
usually of an obviously large size. Electronic Crasher
produces the same effect but with a small device that may be
hidden in a card case, a packet of cigarettes, a book, or in
any other suitable location.
Electronic Crasher is an electro-mechanical device that is
100% reliable. It is powered by two batteries (included) and
has a timer that will trigger the event at the moment you
decide (a window of 10-45 seconds).
MY COMMENTS:
This is certainly a very elegant product and much better
than the specially made table Bazar de Magia produces.
Despite its portablity, this is not a close-up item. Glass
shattering effects shouldn't be, unless you want to risk
glass flying into your audience's faces, or other body
parts. (Yes, you can cover it and keep it in a heavy clear
plastic bag, if you so choose) I haven't used this in
performance, nor will I, so I can't attest to its
reliability, but others have told me that this device lives
up to the ad.
The device comes already hidden in a card case, but can be
removed and placed elsewhere. I'm really not sure how it
can be hidden in a book, though. It also comes with the
batteries (as the ad says) and instructions which includes
two effects (both magical in nature).
