MY COMMENTS:
Falkenstein & Willard were the first mentalists that I saw
live and they are probably one of the reasons I didn't
immediately see the possibilities of doing full-length
mentalism shows. Their act is extremely classy, yet their
style and presentation never excited me. If you compare
their act to the Evasons, for instance, you'll see the
difference. Despite this, they certainly are regarded as
masters at what they do and I greatly respect them for it.

And there is no question that their experiences and words of
wisdom in this series are quite invaluable. One may be able
to find better blindfold methods and better effects, but the
ones presented here are what Falkenstein and Willard used
and honed throughout their career. They work for them and
they might very well work for you. As you can tell from the
blurb, there's both mentalism and magic presented on this
series. I really don't care for the format of presentation
on one tape, explanations on the other, but it doesn't
detract from the viewing. Also, much of the material relies
on having a partner on stage to work with. With all that in
consideration, if you plan on doing a two-person act or
enjoy hearing experiences/info from a considered master of
the craft, this will be an elegant and useful addition to
your library.
