THE BLURB:
You give the note pad to 3 or 4 spectators and ask them to
write a few three digit numbers. Then you ask another person
to add the numbers together and it will, without fail, match
your prediction!
MY COMMENTS:
This is identical to the working of Dick Barry's "Add-A-Pad"
and may well be identical to Jerry O'Connell's mentalism pad
(though I personally have not seen one to compare). Like
the aforementioned props, the attached pencil does all the
work for you. It takes seconds to re-set, but is probably
best done away from an audience. And, though, the paper is
not a regular 3" X 5" size, that's a negligible factor since
it's very easy to cut paper to the size it needs to be. The
pad is actually a few inches longer than a 3" x 5" card.
Compared to Dick Barry's prop, this nicely made prop is a
little more expensive and about the same price as Jerry
O'Connell's (though shipping and exchange rates to the U.S.
may make it more expensive).
