The backs of all four cards are identical. They all say
Memory Pattern Test 198, they are all black backed cards.

From start to finish the spec never says a word or writes
anything down. There are no forces of any type. You will
describe in detail the exact event they are merely thinking
of.

MY COMMENTS:
This is a very old principle, but it's been masterfully
repackaged into a marvelously powerful pocket-sized effect.
The blurb, though, does leave one very important detail out.
On each card is printed a set of specific memories which
most of us have had in our life. However, even though the
participant has a limited choice, he or she can select any
memory from any one of the four cards. Also, though the
participant doesn't need a say a word throughout the entire
effect, it plays better if there is some discussion. The
instructions actually detail a routine that does this.
Finally, I have to say that this routine does require some
memory work, but Outlaw Effects supplies some good mnemonics
to make this quite easy.

The package includes six pages of instructions on
single-sided 8.5" x 11" pages and, as usual, Outlaw Effects
has a special forum for purchasers of this effect. You also
get four laminated business-card sized Memory Pattern Test
cards. Honestly, at the low price they're charging, it's a
steal and highly recommended.
