PAUL DANIELS MASTERCLASS

THE BLURB:
2 packed hours of video instruction about the business of
magic. Paul shares tips on how to make more money from your
shows, how to be a better performer, how to handle hecklers,
as well as many anecdotes and stories that each contain a
powerful lesson.
The Masterclass events held in Australia, UK, and USA were
received with standing ovations everywhere and we have
received numerous comments from magicians saying that
attending and applying the techniques has turbo-charged
their career! As an example:
"Within a few months of attending the Paul Daniels
masterclass, I had my longest ever standing ovation, my
busiest and most profitable May and June, and achieved one
of my life long goals of performing for Her Majesty the
Queen of England. The advice I learned from Paul has
literally been worth its weight in gold."
Chris Dugdale, International Award Winning Close-up Magician
This DVD is the next best thing to being there. Even if you
did attend, you should definitely obtain your copy of the
highlights because the videos contain lots of footage that
you wont have seen from the other masterclass venues!
MY COMMENTS:
There's no question that this DVD doesn't contain any one of
the entire Master Class sessions. Not having attended one of
them, I can't tell you what has been left out. But what
still is here, on the highlights tape, are invaluable tips
on the business of performing that certainly can be useful
to the working performer -- magician or mentalist. Even
though much of it applies to magicians, the mentalists can
cleverly find applications for some of this advice. Since
this was filmed live, the production values are not the
slickest, but one doesn't buy this to be entertained. You
buy it for the information. And the cost for this
informational DVD is certainly reasonable enough.
