THE BLURB:
Effect:

The performer removes a paper clipped & folded card from his
pocket and leaves it in full view on the table. A card is
then FREELY selected, SIGNED, and RETURNED TO THE PACK. And
yet, when the performer unclips the folded card and slowly
unfolds it... it is found to be the singed card. A truly
mind-blowing impossibility!

Here's what magicians are saying about Paper-Clipped!

"An astonishing trick! I perform it every night of the
week!"
- Chad Long

"A miracle strong enough to inspire a religion."
- David Acer

"One of my favorite effects. A modern classic."
- Joshua Jay

In 1990, Jay published a card trick entitled "#^@!" in his
book 100% SANKEY. Since then, the routine has gained an ever
growing popularity and worldwide reputation, especially
among "real workers". This is the one trick of Jay's almost
every professional magician uses.

Now for the very first time, Jay's astonishing "card in
paperclip" is fully explained, along with his killer "Bank
Night", "Mental Photography", "Card in Egg" and "Torn &
Restored Business Card" routines. Presentational
suggestions, psychological fine points and the all-important
"touches" are fully covered. This unique DVD also includes
Jay's tips on using the switch with bills, matchbooks, nail
writers, cocktail napkins, and much more!

INCLUDES 5 BRAND NEW SANKEY CARD ROUTINES!

Supersonic: The fastest sandwich in the free world!
Mating Season: Everybody's doing it!
Romantic Interlude: Perfect when performing for couples!
The Usual Suspects: Magic + mentalism = miracle!
Ultimate Aces: One lethal move after another!

Running Time Approximately 100min

MY COMMENTS:
Originally released on videotape a few years ago, this move
has numerous applications in the world of mentalism.  Sure,
you could use it with playing cards, as demonstrated here.
But many mentalists have adapted it to the use of billets.
Essentially, if you know what an Ostin clip is, this is a
no-gaffed version of it.  There is a sleight involved and it
does take practice, but it is not difficult at all.  As to
the five new Sankey card routines, I think you could pretty
much assume that, though creative, they don't offer
mentalists a whole lot.  However, the main subject, the
Paper-Clipped move, is one of the few Jay Sankey items that
mentalists should definitely be made aware of and so I
highly recommend adding this DVD to your library.

NOTE: If you already have the video, you don't need this
unless you want to "upgrade" to a DVD version.
