MY COMMENTS:
This has always been one of Larry's signature tricks and,
make no mistake, it is very dangerous. Larry Becker
certainly shows you steps to insure that it can't go wrong,
but these precautions are not fail-safe. And, though I had
to warn you of this danger, this is a very exciting and
powerful effect that will make your reputation, if it's the
type of effect that fits into your persona. Besides what's
listed in the blurb above, the explanations are a roundtable
discussion with Lee Earle and Carl Jones. One other point
is that you will have to go out and purchase and/or build
the props involved, but those props should last a lifetime.

Now I honestly have not had a chance to closely compare
Standing Ovations, the DVD which presents an earlier
performance (without explanations) of Russian Roulette. And
the effect is also wonderfully explained in Larry Becker's
Stunners Plus. I couldn't find any important new details
added to the routine since Stunners Plus book came out, so
if you already have the book (if not, you need to get it!)
and the Standing Ovations DVD, you probably don't really
need this handsome, stand alone DVD. Otherwise, this is a
highly recommended, classy DVD that thoroughly covers this powerful effect.
